Conflicting Wireless Optical Mouse signals in the same office space.
Hi, I'm using a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0A with a Wireless Multi-Media Keyboard 1.0A on a desktop computer setup and my officemate, whom I share a small cubicle with, is using the exact same mouse and keyboard, on a laptop in a docking station. Whenever we're using our mice at the same time, my mouse stops moving as soon as he start moving his mouse, then a small pop up window comes up saying I have a low wireless signal, do I want to troubleshoot the issue...I usually say no, as I know what the issue is and the troubleshooter doesn't seem able to resolve it. He claims his mouse is unaffected by movement from my mouse, but I have seen the same pop up window saying the wireless signal is low come up on his computer, but not as often. How can we make it so that we can both use our mice without any conflicting signals? They don't seem to have a way to set different signal parameters. We sit at an L-shaped desk system with our backs to each other, so the keyboard and mouse are pointed at opposite walls, also we don't seem to be having any issues with keyboard conflicts.1 person needs an answerI do too

There maybe an option to change the wireless channel, not having used an MS mouse I'm unsure as to where this option would be changed.

The obvious solution: replace one of the mice with a wired one. Wired optical mice can be had cheap.
