I have a somewhat similar printer, the 6150 AiO (it has a document feeder) and it was a bit tricky getting it to work. First of all let me ask you this: do you have a wireless router? If so, you need to connect the printer to the router (wirelessly) and use it that way. You'll also need to disable the firewall on the Windows machine. The router setup does open up some ports in the firewall, but apparently not the right ones or not all the ones it needs and the documentation is a bit weak on which ports it uses. Also, I found I couldn't use WPA encryption with the printer. It would connect to the router okay, but then Windows would no longer connect to the router for more than a couple of minutes at a time unless the printer was turned off (it may just be my router, you might have different results.) Dropping the printer, router and Windows back to WEP fixed the issue.

Hi, First, you may try the Printer troubleshooter, which will attempt to automatically diagnose and fix your problem. Open the Printer troubleshooter by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Hardware and Sound, click Use a printer. Also you can login with Clean Boot, temporally disable firewall, bypass the router for test. If the issue persists, I suggest to contact Kodak for further help: http://support.en.kodak.com/app/home/selected/true Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
