Concerned!
I've recently reinstalled Microsoft Security Essentials to my laptop and it's now "NOT" working properly. I've also uninstalled some program that I thought was causing my computer to not work properly. Now its showing my computer is at risk for infections, virus, etc. I've tried numerous things to, but as right now nothing is working. My laptop is registered with Toshiba and I wondering do I need to contact them. When I open the MSE it automatic closes. ..? Who do I need to contact about this problem? I've deleted, erased, etc. and I don't know what else to do

Hi khole, Do you have a backup? You can do a System Restore to the time point that everything works without issue. I suspect you encounter the virus issue, for more information and support on virus issues, I would like to suggest you call Microsoft PC Safety telephone number, 1-866-727-2338(1-866-PCSAFETY). This service offers no-charge assistance for virus-related issues or questions. Also, you can check Microsoft Security and Privacy Web site at: http://www.microsoft.com/security/ In addition, for the MSE problems, please ask it here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect Regards, Miya This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
