Network Printing and File sharing had been working fine for years, then after one weekend nothing. 4 of 5 computers are running Vista. 1 is running XP. 2 of the computers have network shared printers on them. When you go to network you can see all the computers on the workgroup however when trying to access them it just hangs and comes up with Cannot Access \\Compname error code 0x80070035. Not sure how this happened and have been trying to fix it all week as it has crippled the office. The computer running XP for some odd reason is unaffected and can be accessed right away as normal. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We use the workgroup on Private settings without passwords or logins. All computers belong to the same workgroup.

Apparently the McAfee anivirus that came with the computer was creating a firewall although it was never in use. Odd but once uninstalled everything works fine as before. Not that odd surely - McAfee has been responsible for a few head-scratching moments in my business! Glad everything is sorted.www.pc-support.uk.com
