Computer wont read Ethernet cable.
I try i to plug it in to my computer straight from my modem and it wont work i cant get internet and it works fine it other computers please i really need help.1 person needs an answerI do too

Well when i plug in the cable local area connection does not show up. I have tried changing the network card and that didnt change anything and we even reinstalled windows. and its a modem from our isp.

HiDid you check the system as indicated in the link that is in my previous post?You have a Modem or a Modem/Router? (post the nmae and the model of the Device).Please describe what is connected to each device, and all computers.There is Not enough info to figure out what is wrong, repeating the same complains would not hep to help you.
