Computer shut-off by itself & deleting hard drive cookies
My first question: Whats probly in my computer to (shut-off) by itself ? It has happened (4) times recently, while performing right in the middle of a task. The second question: Is there a way to (type) in the computer search bar, to delete the "cookies" on the hard drive? I've heard about the ("cookies") are linked to malicious spyware. Microsoft Security Essentials have removed (195) trojan attacks, and I'am still counting. Lee Vernon PayneLee Payne

Deleting cookies are an option in the Internet Options panel. Your computer most like is shutting down because it is still infected with malware or the maware has corrupted some of the system files. I recommend you download and run the FREE MalwareBytes @ http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and scan your system with it. It is considered one of the best, if not the best, programs for removing malware from your computer. If your system is still acting up, then I recommend you a system Repair. You can get to Repair Your Computer by either pressing F8 repeatedly while booting or by booting from the install DVD.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. The advice is good. Malwarebytes software program is on my desktop, and detected well into the (46min:) of a full scan. Its the (Conficker worm) malware that I worry about, with its variety of malicious browser cookies. It causes the most mayhem.Lee Payne
