Computer lost its UserData folder and all its settings and won't run properly.
K have an issue with a computer. Seems to have lost its Userdata folder for the main user. On an XP computer. When I tried to add the folder it says it still has a folder named user data so can't add a folder with the same name. Any ideas? Tested the hard drive and passed. Tried restoring windows no fix. Did this out of no where for no reason.1 person needs an answerI do too

Well it appears the userdata folder isn't missing. But the user definately is currupt. None of the settings are working. Desktop is gone and email everything gone. Etc. I tried copying everything into a new user like you suggested. Well the user works but none of the settings work.
