Computer continues to update windows applications each time I shut down which causes problems with each boot up.
Computer updates windows applications each time I shut down. The next time I turn the computer on, I receive the message that it was not shut down properly and gives me choices of how to start: safe mode, safe mode with networking or normal. The computer then goes into a loop and may finally allow me to boot up but the screen never looks normal. At this time, I have been unable to get in.1 person needs an answerI do too

What exactly do you mean by "Computer updates windows applications..."? What applications? What message or messages are you seeing when this updating is taking place? Take a look in the Event Viewer log to see if anything relevant is logged while this is happening.John
