Hi, my computer suddenly cannot read discs or write blank ones.I have ran the Mr. Fixit and it shows that nothing is wrong. I use XP, and the computer is a Dell Vostro 1500.Help Please!1 person needs an answerI do too

I use XP, and the computer is a Dell Vostro 1500.Help Please!Try another free disk prog such as burnawarefree etc, the fault might be your prog.also try a system restore to a time it was ok.

I use XP, and the computer is a Dell Vostro 1500.Help Please!well, if the problem is software related, then you can execute a system restore point and return the pc back in time to a functional state.however, also keep in mind that the cd drive is a little machine. it is not uncommon for them to simply wear down and become mechanically faulty. other than getting a new one / replacement, people can double check to enusre that :1) the bios settings for it are correct and is detecting the cd drive. 2) the read/write laser head is not dirty. db`...>-)))> `...>-)))> share the nirvana mann
