Computer Tune Up Help
I have a Dell Dimension 8300 computer. Some the thing tha t I have noticing lately is it starts up very slow(sometines it takes it 3-4 minutes to fully come up) When I go into Internet Explorer that takes for ever to open and it really seems to be draging. I use a program called Smart Defrag which does a nice just but I find that I have to do once a week. I also do the disk cleanup and try to keep all junk stuff off my computer. I was on the CNET web site to see if I could get info on what to do and they recommened a program called UniBlue Registry Booster and that it's safe to use with Windows programs. I've heard all kinds of pros and cons on programs that deal with the registry and Iam uncertain of them. I have also contacted Dell and they want to increase the ram from 516 to 3x that amount. I don't think that's the problem being onlt 30% of disk is used. Any suggestion, help or recommendation would be great. I also forgot to mention that my virus protection is McAfee.1 person needs an answerI do too
