Computer Sharing - Windoes XP
Is there a way for 2 users to share one computer independent of each other, allowing 2 monitors, mice & kbds to be attached to the cpu but only give access to one user at a time for security reasons?1 person needs an answerI do too

If only one person is going to use the computer at a time, why would you want the extra keyboards, mice, etc.? Just create separate user accounts and password-protect then with strong passwords.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

They are reducing the number of computers in the office so temp employees are going to have to share computers. They don't want to force the employees to share a desk too, they would like to just give each access to one computer from their own desk when at work. Plus there may be times when both employees are there, so one needs to be able to use the computer but the other cannot be in a situation where they can watch what the other is doing - against security policies.

Then your company should look into doing thin clients instead. Unfortunately that's not going to reduce costs. The way you're thinking about doing it isn't going to work. However, when you can get a workstation for $300, I don't think costs are going to be reduced as much as you think.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
