Computer Malfunction with C:windows/system32/WoW64win.dll error
After installing KB2607712, KB2563227, and KB958559, my laptop computer repeatedly shows this message:
C:windows/system32/WoW64win.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Trystalling the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or .... The caption says: Bad Image.
I am unable to launch most programs or install software.
Please advise

Hello,
try running sfc /scannow and check the results.
If this does not help, perform an in-place upgrade of your OS.

I already tried sfc \scannow. Each time it returned same result saying it found errors but unable to fix some of them. Repairing windows has not helped either, so looks like an OS re-install as you suggest, which sucks because of the numerous
updates and programs to re-install.
