What is the total size of the pix you want to send? (In bytes, not pixels). Are they JPG or BMP? You want to adjust the physical as well as the file size. You can get irfanview, which is free (www.irfanview.com). What you want is something along a 4 x 6 or 8 x12 (or the sizes you have if you want), but then resize them to give them about 96 dpi for display on a monitor, and that will greatly reduce the pixels used, and then save with a jpeg compression level of about 60 % for a good image. That is good for emailing and web use. The physical size as well. My digital camera produces pix at about 1500KB as well. I use the Pix Resizer to get them to a size that fits an e-mail window without having to scroll and they are down below 100KB each.Another option is to use an online file transfer site. You upload a file with the pix and the other person downloads it.
