Comodo Internet Security
Ihave downloaded Comodo Internet Securityonto Windows 7 Beta right now and it is refusing to install. The installer opensok, but once you click through the wizard several times, the installer automaticallydoes a rollback and nothing is changed. This problem has a workaround: use Program Compatibility Mode for Vista. However, if you do decide to install Comodo Antivirus within the Internet Security suite, the program refuses to install anymore than "Firewall Kernel", and hangs there. Once you rebootthe computer, half the program is stuck in there and causes a BSoD whenever the firewall is triggered.Anyone else experience this?

There are only a select few Anti-Virus/Internet Security solutions available for Windows 7. The list can be found at either the Windows Team Blog or the Microsoft Security Partners Page.At this time Comodo Internet Security is not listed as a fully compatible solution. You will have to wait for them to update the software to be compatible.Moved to Security Forum. While i understand that this is a question about Compatibility. All the other topics about Security software are here and to keep the forums tidy felt it was best to have this with them. Thank you for your understanding. ~Alex T.~Windows Desktop Experience MVP~

Everything on this list works in Windows 7, 32bit version. http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html Avast Anti-Virus is XP and Vista compatible (32bit and 64bit Versions), FREE, auto-updating, and a low resources user of your computer. And, only have 1(one) Anti-Virus installed / running on your computer at any one time.. Conflicts may occur if you have more than 1(one). http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6 is a very good, FREE Anti-Spyware Program. Download, install, update, and immunize your System with it. Then SCAN with it. Update it, and scan your System once a fortnight. http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html SpywareBlaster 4.1 is a non-intrusive, FREE Anti-Spyware Program (no scanning by you!). SpywareBlaster prevents the installation of many so-called spyware, adware and malware programs by disabling the CLSIDs of popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage Update it once a fortnight. http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php Malwarebytes is as the name says, a Malware Remover! For the Free version scroll down their page to either download from Download.com, or Major Geeks.com Download, install, and update
