Color of the Right Click Menu on the Desktop Taskbar
I just bought a new computer, preloaded with Windows 8.1.  While it seems functional in all other respects, there is one small thing that irks me to no end.  For whatever reason, whenever I right click any of the icons on the left side of the taskbar (web browser, documents, control panel, etc.), the right click menu is the same color as the background of the Windows 8 "start screen", and whenever I mouse over the now colored menu, the highlight color is a brilliant turquoise.  Is there any way I can stop the background from having an influence over my right click menu, and instead have the traditional right click menu?

The color of the right-click menu matches the background color of the Windows 8 Tile Menu.

When I change the background color, the color of the right-click menu changes as well.

All I want to do is to figure out how to restore the standard color scheme of the right-click menu.

Do a system restore prior to the date when this problem occurred.
