Color Modifications for Windows Explorer
It should be seriously considered to allow modification (even from a limited spectrum) of the background of the Windows explorer windows. Individuals like myself who work in low light conditions are absolutely blinded by the stark white. Although, customer graphic backgrounds would not only be cool, but innovated. As a person that uses multiple OS environments, this would be a particular selling point for Windows.

Hi, you can change window color by right clicking the desktop ->Personalize -> Windows Color -> Advanced appearance settings , but it doesn't change the background color for Windows Explorer I think it's by design so to meet you requirements you can use a third party software like "Background Changer" : http://www.windows7download.com/win7-windows-7-folder-background-changer/dwytvjqt.htmlOussama Oueslati | System Engineer | vNext Consulting

Cool, thank you for the information. I would, though, hope windows considers this as an option in future builds. I am not a big fan of relying on 3rd party software to do configuration changes to an OS.DisCoDex
