Code 8009200D Windows Update. HP computer has a legitime and validated Windows 7 Professional version. Updates works fine till Nov. 11 2010. What to do?

Hi, After checking this issue, you could try the following steps to check the result: 1. You could try to perform system restore to a previous time point which Windows Update worked fine. 2. Test this issue in Clean Boot mode. 3. Try to reset the windows update component to check how it works: 1) Open an elevated command prompt (Run as administrator). 2) In the elevated command prompt, copy and paste each command below one at a time and press enter after each one. net stop wuauserv rmdir %windir%\softwaredistribution /s /q rmdir %windir%\system32\softwaredistribution /s /q regsvr32 /s wuaueng.dll regsvr32 /s wuaueng1.dll regsvr32 /s atl.dll regsvr32 /s wups.dll regsvr32 /s wups2.dll regsvr32 /s wuweb.dll regsvr32 /s wucltui.dll net start wuauserv 3) When finished, close the command prompt.
