I've recently installed a PCI USB card to a windows 7 x64 box. The device (a VIA chipset 'Dynamode' USB-4PCI-2.) Is supposedly Windows 7 PnP compatible and doesn't come with a driver disk. A quick search of the internet showed this to be a reasonably common problem supposed something to do with 32 vs 64 bit drivers in Windows. My first step was to ask Windows to check online for drivers. It searched and told me that the best possible drivers for my hardware were installed. I tried uninstalling the device from device manager and re-booting and device manager now shows a code 24 error... Any advice please?
