Cntl-Alt_del no longer works
Dell latitude E6410. Corporate user who logs into a domain. User can no longer login because pressing CNTL-ALT-DEL does not bring up the login screen. You can click easy access and bring up the on screen keyboard as a workaround. Once you use the on screen
keyboard to invoke the login screen, you can then use the keyboard to input password. CNTL-ALT-DEL still does not work once logged in. Done a lot of searching and no answer so far. I've checked the usually suspects. This is what I've tried:
Problem exists also in Safe Mode.
Full system scan with Kaspersky. Nothing.
Full system scan with Malwarebytes. Nothing.
Built in keyboard hardware was checked. All keys work and do send the appropriate code. Del, Alt and Cntrl keys all work in Word etc....
External USB keyboard works but still no CNTL-ALT-DEL
Check obvious registry keys to no avail.
Check GPeditor for possible login changes. All are set to default.
User said that this happened after a MS update. I did a system restore back prior to the updates but still no fix. Appreicate any help on this one.

Was the language set to US English or some other language?
Was there more then one language?
Keyboard
US
should be the first language and if it is not you need to move it up.

No, just US English. There was an entry for "Other -> Ink Correction" but doesn't make a difference, still doesn't work.
This has got me baffled. I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue because this guy is not a power user yet not a novice user.
