Clock issues
This has only started happening after I put W7 on, it is effecting both my version of W7 and vista, but my ubuntu is fineI am having problems with my clock on W7. When the computer is turned on, it seems to lose about two minutes every hour. When it is turned off, it keeps time perfectly. what is causing this and how do i fix it?Additionally, when the computer is turned off, the BIOS keeps the time properly (however it is changed based on what Windows said when it closed, ie if i turn of the computer at 420 but windows said 415, an hour later the bios will read 515)

Do you have the time checking the time server (to keep it updated)?Have you checked both your Time settings and the Regional settings? How old is your system - could the CMOS battery be dying? I've had CMOS batteries die 4 months after I bought them. - John

is not the battery, that would throw the bios off when turned offI do not have it checking, but that doesn't explain why it is loosing time
