Cleaning Windows temp folder
Some time ago was told me it's a good idea to go into the "Windows/temp" folder and delete anything in there for better performance. Is that true? And as a subquestion, should EVERYTHING be deleted including the folders that are within that temp folder? Thanks!1 person needs an answerI do too

It is quite safe to remove temporary files. Do so by opening a Run window (Windows key+R), type %temp% and press Enter. All the files that show can be safely deleted, however, there may be a few obstinate ones (dated today) that refuse to go.

BurrWalnut........ Thanks. I did it and a whole bunch of files showed up including a few yellow folders. Can those be safely deleted also? Thanks again.

I don't know what 'yellow folders' are? If you have any doubts, leave the 'yellows' and remove the rest.
