Citrix Worx Ready and Lync

Hello, we have a client that is interested in mobile app management and is looking at Citrix XenMobile. They use youre Lync 2013 application but is inquiring if your app will become Citrix Worx Ready, http://www.citrix.com/cms/ready/worx-partner-apps/. Or is it possible to acquire a non-signed ipa file that is not provisioned for the apple iTunes store which then they could wrap the application themselves using the Citrix MDX toolkit. http://support.citrix.com/proddocs/topic/apppreptool/clg-appwrap-how-it-works-con.html

Thanks,

Hi,

Lync 2013 app is not available on Citrix Worx Ready App Gallery. You may give your propose or verify it by email at NextHop@microsoft.com. NextHop is the Microsoft Lync Server teams customer response channel. Thank you for your understanding.

No, still looking for, I got the one from Itunes, did the wrap, but cannot launch by WorxHome, looks to me we need one signed to use as corporate and from Itunes is for personal use, but not sure.

I need to correct Kent's response as the NextHop alias is not for customer response purposes and being retired.

Customers may provide feedback via their Microsoft account team representative.

I am a XenMobile SE with Citrix. As far as I know, Microsoft has not released unsigned Lync to any MDM/MAM vendors. XenMobile, however, does support Lync conferences inside it's Worx product suite. Stay tuned for good news on this topic from Citrix this year.

Hi,

You may want to check out Mindlink (www.mindlinksoft.com). They are currently working to get IM, Presence and Persistent Chat with Lync Citrix ready.
