Cisco VPN client successfully connects in XP mode, but Outlook 2003 will not recognize Exchange Server

I installed the Cisco VPN client successfully in XP mode and connected. However, when I try to configure Outlook 2003 in XP mode, the Exchange Server is not available and the program closes. The settings are exactly the same except for a different report about mailbox mode. Other than that, looks exactly the same

Hi, Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Please check if you can ping your exchange servers IP Address or FQDN. 2. Create a new e-mail profile to check if it works: How to create and configure an e-mail profile in Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003 If the issue persists, since it is related to Exchange Server, it is also recommended that you go to our Exchange Server Forum for further investigation: Exchange Server Forums Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Hope the issue will be resolved soon.Nicholas Li - MSFT
