Cisco Clean Access not working with Win7 RC
We are implementing Cisco Clean Access in our environment, and we are looking into Vista or Windows 7 as the next OS for laptops. One issue I have with Windows 7 is that Clean Access will always prompt for a user name and password. After the credentials are entered, no access is granted. It will prompt again.Vista - no problems. The user's credentials are never asked for (as it should be).Any ideas, experience with programs that do not pass credentials?

Have you tried running the Clean Access Agent in Windows Vista compatibility mode?Looking at the history of the Clean Access Agent regarding compatibility with Vista Service Packs I'm afraid you have to wait until Cisco is ready to support this software on Windows 7.Ray

Yes I've tried running it in several different compatability modes, and as "administrator" etc.I've tried several different versions.I will get the same result: A prompt to connect.I'll keep testing.

I have the same concern as well. I am running Vista but I want so badly to try out Windows 7 RC, but I had a problem with Windows 7 Beat and Cisco Clean Access agent and its refusal to let me log in citing some error. When I get back to College (which mandates CCA for internet access) I am afraid I won't be able to log in and use the internet if I were to install the RC. Darn! Can ANYONE HELP!!!!
