ChtIME.exe error message under Action Centre
The only 3rd party keyboard is Bloomberg version 11.9. I had uninstalled, the error message remain the same so as update. I had Lenovo desktop with the same win 8.1 with no error message on ChtIME. The only issue I had was with Lenovo W550S and Surface pro 2, both are notebook. Please help again

Hi Dklam01,

When did the error message start to occur?Have you made any modifications to the machine ?

First of all ,please manually check for updates for the machines.

Please also run "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" to check the health of the whole system files.
If it occurred recently, we can perform a system restore to recover the machine to a previous normal point.

I had done that too. I will not receive any error message on ChtIME if I did not add language under "Region and language". Is it possible due to both Surface pro 2 and Lenovo W550S are touch  screen. If that the case, how to solve it. All I need is to add Chinese input method.

Hi Dklam01,

Is the machine a single language system (System properties)?Can we add the other language input methods?
We can refer to the following link to configure the language input method.We can try to reinstall the language package to have a check.
