Chkdsk on Windows 7
In Windows 7, how do I turn on Chkdsk on only when I need/want my computer to check the harddrive when I boot up?

fsutil dirty set c:or replace c with any other drive letter

Hi, Please type the following command in Command Console: Chkdsk C: /f /r Check Disk tool will be run automatically at next restart. Also, you can add Check Disk tool in Task Schedule and run it when you would like to use. Thanks, Novak
