Checking which process is currently locking a file
Hello, I have a problem which requires me either of the following: 1. For a given file, view a history of the processes which locked it, or otherwise attempted to lock it while it was already locked. OR 2. For a given file, view on real-time the process which locks it (if any) as well as any processes attempting to lock it, in case it is already locked. I am using Windows 7 SP1 32bit. Suggestions on how it is possible to do this are much appreciated.

Sysinternals Handle app allows you to see which program has a file or directory open and allows you to close that process. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896655.aspxBe kind and Mark as Answer if I helped.
