I have an issue that we are two people in the organization with same names so it creats confusion for many people whom to contact. So I want to change my Lync name. How's it possible?

Display-, first- and last- names are AD attributes used by Lync hence this is where you should start investigation to find a solution (with your AD team).

You can talk to your AD team and let them to help you to modify your Display Name. (e.g. add Department/ Job Title information)
