Changes to Forefront TMG client settings not reflected on client PC

How long should it take before changes made on the TMG server to the 'Forefront TMG Client' settings are reflected on the TMG Clients?

I have just changed the client computer web browser configuration to 'Automatically detect settings' instead of 'Use a Web proxy server' and applied the change on the TMG server. If I reboot the client PC which has the TMG client installed, it is still using the web proxy server in the IE settings when I login.

Is there something else I need to do to force it to apply the new setting from the server?

Interestingly, this setting needed to be changed because our Outlook 2007 client (Exchange 2010) would not open the Out of Office Assistant with the Web proxy server configuired in IE. Not sure if the above is the best solution to this.

Thanks!

Yes, the 'Enable Web browser automatic configuration' under the 'Web Browser' tab is checked on the client side. It appears this is working now anyway. It may have just taken an hour or two to propogate to the clients - I assumed it would be pretty instant...

If you open thru a browser http://your_tmg/wspad.dat and open this file in IE you will see:

Configuration Refresh Time
Re-check inaccessible Server time
Refresh give up time
inaccessible Servers give up time

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc767238.aspx

Check those settings up.
