Changed a network setting, now I cant logon!
My other computer is a work computer, which I use at home. I was attempting to set up a home computer network on my work laptop (while I was at home), so that I could share files between two computers. If I remember correctly, the last thing I tried to do was one of the network set-up wizzards. I changed something from workgroup, to home network ... and then had to restart. Now I cant get past the log-on screen. When I put in my usual log in and password, it says "the system could not log you on." Also, if I remember correctly -- it used to say my network below the "user name" and "password," but now those are the only two boxes there. I am guessing I will just have to wail till tomorrow and get help from my administrators. Thank you in advance for your help!!1 person needs an answerI do too

From your sketchy explanation, it would seem that you disjoined your work computer from the office domain. You will need to bring it to your IT Dept. and have them rejoin your computer to the domain. They can tell you how to safely use it at home.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
