Change work group name...?
I have two destops running Win 7 Ultimate x64. They have different work group names, so I assume that is why they don't see each other.How can I change to work group name of one of them?RonRon

To change Workgroup name, you can refer to Paul's suggestions. Meanwhile, if the two Windows 7 machines are home machine, you can create a HomeGroup and share information by HomeGroup. I just wanted to say thank you so much for the how to on the changing the workgroup name. After I read your post I was like DUH!?? It's so simple, it's not like you need to be a computer genius to figure this one out..lol However, I completely forgot how to do it and felt like a complete idiot! lol It's like forgetting how to change an icon or something non-trivial like that. Any how, thank you for helping me with the brain freeze. Michael
