I have been using RC 7100 for about 6 months, no problems & I love it. With the sunset date coming up I will need to change/upgrade to RTM 7600, can I just purchase a new access key or will I need to do a full install and re-install all programs & data? If I do an image backup before upgrade would I be able to restore just programs & data & not the O/S? Thanks for any help or suggestions.................................Sam

Windows 7 checks whether or not the current version you are running is a pre-release copy, and prevents you from upgrading further. If you try, you'll get: You can't upgrade this pre-release version of Windows 7. You'll need to do a full install, the whole shebang. Yes to your data, no to programs as they have to be reinstalled. You'll need to purchase whatever full version of Windows 7 unless you have a qualifying product installed. So back up your data files, favorites, desktop settings etc. If you were using wireless, export your settings to a usb key so you can import them back in.
