Change account type to Administrator from Debugger Group
Have a client who uses Vista Pro, SP2, and Windows Server 2008 Standard. Yesterday, apparently her account type was changed from Administrator to Debugger Group (other). This account type has no priviledges, and I cannot figure out how to reset the account back to Administrator. I have tried several tactics, all result in "access denied".... Help, please??? Al S.

Is there a second administrator account? If so, use it to add her back to the administrator group. Is she in a domain environment?

Allen - Yes, client is attached to a domain. Users are: Admin - local Kimberley - domain Qbdata Service User - local Al

Just changer to a user on the domain controller or the local computer (give local admin privileges)
