Certificate disappearing from Windows 7 Trusted Root Certificate Authorities store
I've got a problem with certificates in Windows 7. The symptoms are showing in Outlook but I'm convinced it's not an Outlook problem. We have a user based at home who accesses email using Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTP) from his Windows 7 Home Premium PC. On two occasions now he has noticed that Outlook has disconnected. Upon investigation it looks like the SSL certificate from the Exchange server has disappeared from the Trusted Root Certificate Authorities store. Reinstalling the certificate fixes the problem for a while but after a few weeks it seems to disappear again. We are using Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003. Does anyone have any idea why the certificate would keep disappearing like that? Thanks Gareth Hestia Solar
