Cant login via Remote Desktop and Citrix on new Win7 professional pc.
I have a user that i recently setup with a new Windows 7 pro pc. She had an xp machine that occasionally she would connect to from by first connecting to our Citrix server then choosing the RDP option on the Citrix desktop (this worked fine). I set up her new win7 pc to allow remote connections chose connect from any version RDP (did not know what her home pc was, turns out its Vista) and adder her to the remote desktop users group via system properties seclect remote users. She connects to the citrix server with no issues launches the RDP session from the citrix desktop and is able to see her Windows 7 desktop but when she enters her password she gets a wrong password error? she logs on with the password everyday on the pc with no problems but when trying to use RDP it doesn't work? Any ideas?

Please turn off Network Level Authentication for Remote Desktop in Windows 7. Configure Network Level Authentication for Remote Desktop Services Connections If it does not work, please change NTLM authentication level in Windows 7. Please open gpedit.msc from Start Search box. Then locate to the following policy. Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Network security: LAN Manager authentication level Please change “Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated”.Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. The issue may occur during Kerberos authentication. Please refer the following article.
