Cant connect to network
Hi there, I have a 2 notebook's which has Windows Vista Home Edition. The situation's like this : Both are connected to a automatic connection using Billion modem , one at a time. 1) Laptop A : Able to connect properly and the network connection is working fine as well. Ipconfig shown are below :Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.100 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.254 Ethernet adapter Network Connect Adapter: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected 2) Laptop B : Same connection connected to a HP laptop, which has a VPN configuration settings directing it to a company proxy and configuration settings.Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection 2 : Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Ethernet adapter Network Connect Adapter: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Can anyone provide me with an explanation how I could resolve this as this has been an issue confusing me for some time already ? :S Thank you in advance :)- Still a Learner :) -
