I can not add my Windows 7 machine to a 2k3 domain. I was wondering if there was anything in the registry or gpedit that could prevent that from happening.

1. You should specify DNS value correctly. It points to DNS that contains active directory resource records. There should be NO public DNS in the list of TCP/IP specification. Would you publish
ipconfig /all here?
2. Try to disable local firewall on W 7.
3. Are there any traces in event logs?
4. Force SMB version to 1 and disable autotuning.
5. Analyze network traffic and display your findings here or upload traffic logs to SkyDrive or similat cloud repository.
