Cant access shared folder when using local profile
We have users that uses laptops on XP, when they login onto the domain(window 2003) they can access each other shared folder on their local hard disk but when they go offsite and logon using their local profile they cannot access each other shared folders, they can see each other computer but if you try to access Error message "You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. No logon server is currently available". The laptop has static IP addresses, firewall disable, File & Print sharing enable, enable netbios over TCP/IP.The other thing that I have notice is that those laptops which have been patch to XP SP3 can access the shared folder of those laptops only patch to XP SP2 but the laptops that are patch to XP SP2 cannot access shared folders of those laptops patch to XP SP3 and those laptops both patched to XP SP3 cannot access the shared folders. Has their been an windows security patch that cause this problem?1 person needs an answerI do too
