Hello, I was recently infected with "AntiVirus 2010" and I removed it with MalwareBytes, AVG, Ad-Aware & HiJackThis. I have tried activating it through services.msi but then it just goes back to disabled in a few seconds (5 - 10). I have had MalwareBytes, AVG, Ad-Aware & HijackThis running before and my Security Centre never shut off, but now it is. I have tried restore, I have done file system integrity scans, HDD checking (scn) I am about to do a Repair through Windows 7 Disk. Hi, Do you mean you cannot start security center service? I suggest you could try the following steps to see how it works: 1. Click Start, type Services.msc in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. 2. In the right pane, double-click Security Center. 3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, click Apply, click Start, and then click OK. 4. Restart the computer. If the issue persists, test this issue in Clean Boot mode. Hope it helps.
