Canon WS mx860 Printer
After spending some time with the 90 pg installation manual (installation - not operating, that's on the CD), I got my laptop printing wirelessly. Thought it would then be easy to get the desktop to do same. No such luck! After fumbling about some, I got it working wirelessly, too! A few days later I tried to print from the laptop. I get told that printer is not on. Of course, if I wanted to walk across the house and turn it on, that'd go a long way toward defeating the wireless feature. Besides, when I first tried to print from the laptop, before connecting the desktop, it turn the printer on and printed. Any ideas??? Thanks!

Hi, A couple of questions need your clarification: What is the operation system running on both desktop and laptop? Is it a home-group or a printer server involved network? Which operation system is the printer attached directly? Could you provide the method how did you get the desktop work wireless at the first place? Make sure you have the driver mx860swinns102e2-2.exe and mx860sndwin256_ntwin256en.exe from the same page. For more information, if it is a network printer, you can following the instruction in this thread.
