Cannot unlock Windows 7 computer with admin?
I have this annoying problem that I cannot unlock a Windows 7 Pro user locked computer with my admin account as there is no option to change user? At my home computer i can see this option but not the domain-connected computer at work so is this a known issue?

Hi andersbiro, You can switch the user when a user locked the computer. To do this, click "Switch User" button on the screen, click Other User, and then type the local admin account and password to log on. For example, if your computer name is andersbiro-PC, and the account you would like to log on is andersbiro, you should type the user name as: andersbiro-PC/andersbiro. However, if the "Switch User" button is missing from the Welcome Screen, try the following suggestions and see if the issue can be resolved: First, please update the device drivers to the latest version to check the issue. If the issue persists, check the Fast User Switch Compatibility service by the steps below: 1. Click “Start” and select "Run” 2. Type "services.msc" and hit Enter. 3. Locate "Fast User Switching Compatibility", right click and select "properties" and set to "automatic" and "restart the service" under recovery tab. 4. Repeat the above step for "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)" and "Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator". 5. Exit “Services”. Also, check the following Group Policy is disabled. Local Computer Policy / Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Logon / Hide entry points for Fast User Switching Check if this issue can be resolved. Hope this helps. Regards, Linda

As I understood it, and I have the same issue, the problem is that the computer is locked and it is not possible to switch user. So how are we going to update drivers, run servcies.msc etc? If we were able to do that, then we wouldn't have any problem...
