Cannot start windows in normal mode.
When I try to start my computer up it shows the windows xp loading screen but then the screen goes black and the computer restarts and it happens again unless I start it in safe mode. All the solutions I have tried require me to restart the computer which apparently it is not doing even though I shut it down then boot it up. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello, It sounds like something is corrupted and is preventing XP from booting up, as you say, it works in safe mode with a reduced number of drivers and services loaded. Try running msconfig from the RUN command prompt under Start. Then launch System Restore to try and restore the computer configuration to an earlier time (this will work only if you have configured Restore Points).
