I am trying to setup the backup from the backup and restore control panel and it fails right off the bat without giving me any error code or anything...I am running the windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit RTC evaluation copy build 7100 on a Sata drive and this is a clean new install of a couple of weeks...everything else seems to be working I am playing Warhammer online and it seems to be ok...I am running a dual boot with Vista Ultimate on another an IDE drive and I have an usb to sata external drive for backup each drive is a 300 gig...any help would be appreciated...I just tried to click on the Create system Image and I got a Error popup with the error code (the specified service does not exist as an installed service) (0x80074024)

John - If you look in the Event Viewer - do you see any error messages with regards to backup?
