Cannot print from Windows Live Mail or IE 9
I am running Win7 x64, Windows Live mail 2011 and IE9. I cannot print from either Live Mail or IE 9. I get an error when I attempt to print from Live Mail. I have tried the following: registering ole32.dll, oleaut32.dll, actxprxy.dll and disabled all services in msconfig, rebooted and still no luck. The error that I get when printing from Live Mail is below and IE9 only spits out blank pages. An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line:2287 Char:1 Error: Invalid argument Code: 0 URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi mmcjg1, Which printer are you using? Did you try IE9 compatibility mode? Please see this: Unable to print or view the print previewof a webpage in IE If you are using Canon printer, refer to: IE9 Compatibility issue with Canon Printer Drivers (Note: Since the site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice, Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.) Cannot print from IE9 using some Canon printers If you are using HP printer, also see these: Compatibility issues with HP Smart Web Printing and IE Regards, Miya This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Miya, I have a brand new HP 4500 all-in-one printer. I'ver tried several things in the Compatibility issues with HP Smart Web Printing and IE. I am still getting the .js error in Windows Live mail and am getting nothing (including no error message) when I hit the print button or File> print. I can print just fine from Mozilla's Firefox. Short of uninstalling IE 9, which will not fix my printing from Windows Live Mail 2011, I am not sure what else to try. Any thoughts? Thanks.
