I can't ping a server I used to be able to. I can ping the server just fine from any other computer. I have windows 7 32 bit. File sharing and printer sharing is turned on. Didnt do any changes to the firewall.

Have you checked to make sure that this computer (the one that is not able to ping the server) has the same DNS client settings as your other computers that are able to ping the server. I would recommend that you go back and compare the client TCP/IP settings. Feel free to post the results from IPCONFIG /all from both computers (working and non working) if needed. Hi, Thanks for the post! According to my understanding, you cannot ping your computer to a server even turning off the firewall. In this situation, I recommend you try to ping through IP address to see if it works. If not, please try to check the DNS settings. Meanwhile, you can also use the traceroute command: http://help.expedient.com/general/ping_traceroute.shtml Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
