Cannot log on to Windows 7 Home Premium
My PC of only 3 months requires a password to open. When I type my password the following message appears "the user profile service failed the login .User profile cannot be loaded". I have followed the support at microsoft link However, I am told to go into start, then control panel etc, etc and as I cannot get past the welcome page I am unable to make these steps. I do not have nay discs with the laptop. I would be grateful for any help. Thank you

Hi ezpeznz, Please check if you can logon with another user account with administrator privilege. Also, you can go into Safe Mode (Restart computer, press the F8 key when the boot menu pops up, select [Safe Mode], and boot up) and check if the user can be logged in. After that, you can try technocrate's suggestion to check this issue. For more information, please refer to this knowledge base (KB) article: Error message when you log on to a Windows Vista-based or Windows 7-based computer by using a temporary profile: "The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded" Regards, Linda
