Cannot log into Windows XP Pro
I bought a tower computer that has Windows XP pro on it but the person I bought it from doesn't remember the password to log on. It's the administrator account and there is no other account created. How can I log on? What are my options?1 person needs an answerI do too

It doesn't matter what the password is because the first thing to do with a used computer is a clean install/factory restore. I'll repeat what Malkeleah has already told you, because you shouldhear it from more than one person: If I acquired a used computer, no matter who previously owned it, thefirst thing I would do with it would be to reinstall the operatingsystem cleanly. You have no idea how the computer has been maintained, what has been installed incorrectly, what is missing, what viruses andspyware there may be, etc. I wouldn't want to live with somebodyelse's mistakes and problems, possibility of kiddy p0rn, etc., and Iwouldn't recommend that anyone else do so either.
