Hi, When the prompt appeared, please input the username and password of the administrator account of the Windows XP computer and see how it works. At this time, please also try the following: 1. Temporarily disable all the security software (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc.) on all the computers and check if it works. 2. Disable simple file sharing on the Windows XP computers which cannot be accessed: How to disable simple file sharing and how to set permissions on a shared folder in Windows XP 3. On the Windows 7 computer, go to “Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings” and ensure that the following items are turned on: Network Discovery File and printer sharing And this one is OFF: Password protected sharing Hope this helps.
