Cannot get higher than 3 MB/s transfer rate on gigabit network
Help! I have 3 computers networked through a DLINK DIR-655 Gigabit Router/Switch. All Cat5e wired. 2 Computers on Vista, 1 computer on XP, and a WHS (Windows Server 2003) I get between 2-3MB/s between any of the computers including WHS. Both vista computers and WHS are on gigabit adapters wired to gigabit ethernet ports on router. all show 1.0 Gbps speed when click on view status of local area connection Vista 1 computer: Nvidia 10/100/1000 motherboard adapter.. (updated to newest nforce drivers) Vista 2 computer: Intel Pro 1000 PL Network Connection WHS: Realtek RTL8169 Gigabit Ethernet All are updated to their latest driver releases. I have tried disabling firewalls on all systems to see if improved. I have tried copying files from XP to WHS to see if vista was cause but it wasnt. Any ideas? Christopher
