Cannot get 6to4 working
Hi, I am experimenting with IPv6 and cannot get 6to4 working. The 6to4 adaptor is enabled and has a 2002 address and a 2002 gateway but I cannot ping the gateway or any of the IPv6 sites I found mentioned on the Net.Running windows 7, dial-up internet (mobile broadband) with IPv6 enabled in the stack. Output from netsh and ipconfig below and ping. I just want to ensure what i have done is OK - is the relay i am using ok? it could also be something funny that Virgin (via Optus network) has done. any help appreciated.thank you.C:\Windows\system32>netshnetsh>int 6to4netsh interface 6to4>sh state6to4 Service State : enabledUndo on Service Stop : default netsh interface 6to4>sh relayRelay Name : 6to4.ipv6.org. Hi, Please check if you can ping some computers or network resources on your internal network with IPv6. In addition, please also refer to the following document to check the issue: Troubleshooting IPv6 Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT

If your ISP doesn't support IPv6 you need to use a tunnel broker. I've had good results with the free service here:http://tunnelbroker.net/They have some forums that are very helpful.http://www.tunnelbroker.net/forums/index.php?www Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience
